Keto is not just some diet or fad …it is a way of life! My name is Jared and I want to share with you the reason I got started with keto how it has changed my life and why it is my mission to help others be successful on their keto journey. I am currently 41 years old and in the best shape of my life. My energy is high my focus is clear I am fit, and I feel all around great!
That has not always been the case for me, since my late teens I have always fluctuated with my weight and no matter what I did or tried I could not maintain a steady healthy body weight. I would go up and down, up and down and at a few points in my 20’s and 30’s I got to over 50 lbs overweight. Needles to say those were some pretty low points for me…my self confidence was way down I hated to have my picture taken I dreaded having an event to go to as none of my clothes fit right plus I was uncomfortable and in pain almost all the time.
When my first child was born I took the whole gaining sympathy weight with my wife way to seriously, and by the time my son was three I was at the heaviest I had ever been. Well…we all have our moments when we draw a line in the sand and say enough is enough and this was it for me. I knew I owed it to myself and my family to be healthy happy and fit, so I could enjoy life to its fullest and lead by example as a father to my children.
So, to google I went and started to research maintaining weight loss and staying healthy. The Ketogenic diet started popping up everywhere keto this keto that, this celebrity is doing keto and that celebrity is doing keto…it was everywhere. Right away a red flag went up for me because I was concerned that keto was just another fad diet the media was throwing around. It was a chance remark from a friend of mine who is someone I respect especially when it come to health and fitness, he said “Jared you need to learn about keto”. He then went on to tell me that he had been living a ketogenic lifestyle for over a year and it was his secret weapon to burning fat and maintaining good health and staying fit.
It was a huge relief to know that someone I trusted could verify that keto was for real! But I still wanted to do my own due diligence. I started following people like Dr. Joseph Mercola, Dr. Mark Hyman, Dr. Berg, Thomas DeLauerr and many more. The more I researched and learned the more I realized this was something I could do successfully, so my keto journey began.
Today I have been living a keto lifestyle for more than three years and I am in the best shape of my life, I no longer have constant hunger cravings or over eat, I have loads of energy, my focus is clear and constant, I sleep good, my mood is better, and I am a very active dad with my two kids. Keto has changed my life in so many great ways I truly can’t express it all.
I now have one of the fastest growing keto Facebook groups and have created this site to further my reach and help even more people. I see so many people struggling with their weight and health not knowing what to do or where to start. I want to use my own experience to help educate and support people, so they don’t have to go it alone and keep facing failure. That is why I have started a movement to Transform 1 Million Lives. I don’t just mean motivate and make people feel better about their situations…I mean actually transform their health and fitness by getting them to achieve real results with keto.
